OPENING CEREMONY Maestranza Theatre 6.30 pm – 8.00 pm

FOLLOWED BY A WELCOME COCKTAIL ABADES TRIANA RESTAURANT 8.00 pm – 10.00 pm

Inaugurated on May 2, 1991 by the Queen of Spain, the Maestranza Theatre is a prestigious theatre located in the historical heart of Seville and reputed for its facilities. Contrary to what its name suggests, the theatre, designed by architects Aurelio del Pozo and Luis Marin de Teran, is almost exclusively used for staging operas, symphony music concerts and dance shows.

The Abades Triana restaurant, located along the Guadalquivir, is one of Seville's finest dining locations. It offers typically Andalusian as well as sophisticated international cooking, along with a splendid view of the city. Ultra-contemporary in style, the Abades Triana has a spacious dining room as well as two terraces with a magnificent, sheltered view of the Torre del Oro and the Giralda.
Transport will be provided between the congress hotels and the Maestranza Theatre. The shuttle timings will be provided at the time of the registration and will also be displayed in the congress hotels.

For security reasons, it is mandatory for you to carry your badge or invitation card, along with identity document.

INFORMAL RECEPTION CORTIJO EL ROCIO 8.00 pm – 11.30 pm

The Cortijo El Rocio is a ranch located just 22 kilometres from Seville, in Pueblo del Rio village, on the banks of the Guadalquivir and on the threshold of the vast Doñana National Park.

It gives visitors the opportunity of discovering an impressive, typically Andalusian horse show, with horses raised by the Peralta brothers, whose performance in the field of bullfighting has made them stand out as two of the greatest figures of their times. Their legend has become a myth and they are henceforth known as the "Centaurs of the Marshland", the lords of the "rejoneo" (mounted bullfighting).

Transport will be provided between the congress hotels and the Cortijo (return as of 10.00 pm). The timings will be provided at the time of the registration and will also be displayed in the congress hotels.

GENERAL EXCURSION TO JEREZ 9.00 am – 5.30 pm

The coach is scheduled to leave Seville at around 9.00
am from the congress hotels, reaching Jerez at 10.30 am.

In the morning, a private show and visit to the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art (Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre) has been planned. The school is well-known for its exceptionally beautiful horse show, reproducing the traditional 18th century Andalusian parade.

You will attend a one-hour private special show by the school in the arena of a 17th century palace, against the background of classical Andalusian music.

The horses perform dance steps and caprioles based on a choreography inspired by traditional Andalusian horse-breaking exercises. The magic and beauty of the show, unique in its genre, will remain an unforgettable memory for spectators.

At the end of the show, you will continue your exploration with a visit to the stables.

To continue, you leave by bus for the Gonzalez Byass Cellars for a visit in small groups (maximum 30 persons), distributed according to language preferences.

The Gonzalez Byass Cellars were established in 1835 by Manuel Maria González Angel and Robert Blake Byass, creating the family company that is now internationally renowned for its wines and brandies and for the quality that it has been able to maintain in its wide range of products.

The cellar is still managed by the 4th and 5th generations of the Gonzalez family, which has preserved the family legacy, tradition and culture of preparing and ageing wine for over 160 years.

Among the cellars that you can visit, the most characteristic is the one in which you will see barrels signed by over 200 celebrities from different countries (famous singers, sportspersons, politicians, writers, etc.)

The Concha cellars, built by the famous architect, Eiffel, and the Apostoles cellars, with their magnificent architecture, also stand out.

After visiting the cellars, you will be invited for wine tasting (for those who do not drink alcohol, grape juice and mineral water will be available), followed by a typical lunch in one of the cellars, where beautifully decorated tables will be set.

End of excursion and return to hotels between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm.

The cost of the excursion, including transportation by bus, visits and lunch, amounts to Euros 200 per person.
